My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3

Enduring Treasure Ministries was founded in 2014 by Joe and Julie Cox, born from a burden that grew over 30+ years of ministry experience and international travel.
A Gap in Christian Leadership Training
Serving alongside Christian leaders around the world, Joe and Julie kept hearing the same frustration: pastors were faithfully teaching God's Word, yet long-term transformation in their churches was often inconsistent. These leaders were hungry to grow—studying conferences, books, and leadership experts—but much of that material wasn't rooted in biblical principles. Missing were foundations like the authority of God's Word, leading from love, Christlike servant leadership, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and a true understanding of how transformation happens.
Enduring Treasure was born to address that gap: calling Christian leaders back to biblical standards and equipping them with practical strategies for transformational ministry—not just what to do, but how to do it faithfully and effectively.
A Step of Faith
Though humbled by the calling and unsure they were qualified, Joe and Julie grew convinced through prayer that God was leading them forward—even if it meant leaving established ministry roles for a path of faith and perseverance.
Pastor Training in East-Central Africa
They felt particularly drawn to underserved Christian leaders in East-Central Africa, especially Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Time with local pastors revealed an urgent need for pastor training and leadership development; while exact statistics are hard to verify, estimates suggest most pastors across the continent lack the formal training they need to minister effectively. Thousands of leaders loved God and served faithfully but lacked the training to lead transformational ministries.
A Growing Vision
That need, paired with God's clear call, grew into a broader vision reaching many nations across Africa's Great Lakes Region. What began in 2014 as a step of faith is now a ministry dedicated to investing in Christian leaders—believing transformed leaders transform churches, and transformed churches transform communities.
That is an Enduring Treasure.
