Enduring Treasure for Christian Leaders

We invest in Christian leaders, equipping them to live and lead according to God's Word. Transformed leaders move their churches toward transformation. Transformed churches are used by God to transform communities.

What topics are addressed in training seminars, workshops, and courses?

Trainers offer a variety of topics selected with advice from senior leaders in the communities where training is conducted. Enduring Treasure's trainings connect biblical truths with the real life of the church leader and offer practical, relevant ideas for implementation.

How can you know that what you teach Christian leaders will be beneficial in their context?

Finding success in developing effective cross-cultural ministry is complex. Enduring Treasure leaders are careful to spend time and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding before any training ministry. Enduring Treasure's training plans and outlines are submitted to local leaders who evaluate them for cultural relevance.

How do you decide what you will teach in each local context?

Someone who lives outside the ministry context can often identify needs or solutions that those living close to the problems each day may miss. Even though this is true, we must be careful to resist the impulse to give answers to questions that have not been asked. We’ve found the best way to strike the right balance is to develop ministry partnerships that are relationship-rich and that allow adequate time to build trust in communication.

Who teaches in ETM Leadership Training?

ETM staff members often serve as trainers, but we recruit other leaders to meet the specific needs of our international partners. Teams of trainers are developed in each country who understand the language and culture of their people.

Do you ever provide coaching along with leadership training?

Whenever possible, we offer individualized coaching sessions to as many leaders as our schedule permits. We find that leadership training often brings needs to the surface that are best addressed in private conversations. When coaching training is available, coaching can be delivered by local leaders in the coachees' heart language. Enduring Treasure does not attempt to provide coaching through translation, which limits our ability to coach in many cases where language is a barrier.

How do you follow up with leaders who have received training?

We work within established partnerships with local organizations and churches that are equipped to provide ongoing support and accountability to those receiving training. Because of our commitment to long-term partnerships, training is often delivered multiple times in targeted regions, enabling informal follow-up and evaluation.

What does it cost for a Christian leader to participate in an Enduring Treasure Leadership training event?

We always provide our leadership training free of charge to recipients. Partner organizations and area churches work together with Enduring Treasure to raise funds for course costs. For trainees, this includes the costs of printing, meals, and related expenses.

Church Leadership Skill Development

Building Great Teams for Great Ministry

Effective ministry is never a one-person effort. This course equips church leaders to move beyond doing ministry alone and learn how to identify, develop, and mobilize ministry teams that use the gifts God has placed within His people. Participants will discover practical strategies for building healthy ministry teams, encouraging volunteers, and creating a culture where every believer contributes meaningfully to God’s mission.

Leading Like Jesus

Jesus modeled a leadership style that transformed lives and changed the world. This course examines five key leadership principles demonstrated throughout Christ’s ministry and contrasts them with common leadership patterns found in today’s culture. Participants will evaluate their own leadership practices and develop practical skills for leading with humility, service, influence, and Christ-centered purpose.

Coaching Essentials for Ministry

People grow best when they are encouraged to discover God’s work in their own lives. This course introduces the biblical foundations and practical skills of coaching as a powerful tool for spiritual growth, leadership development, and helping others navigate life’s challenges. Through hands-on practice, participants will gain confidence in using coaching conversations to foster meaningful transformation.

Discovering and Communicating God's Word

God’s Word has the power to transform lives when it is accurately understood and effectively communicated. This course provides a practical framework for studying Scripture, uncovering biblical truth, and preparing messages that are clear, organized, and relevant. God's Resources for God's Ministry

Faithful stewardship is essential for healthy and sustainable ministry. This course explores biblical principles and practical approaches to raising, managing, and distributing ministry resources in ways that honor God and advance His purposes. Participants will learn how financial stewardship can strengthen ministry effectiveness while encouraging spiritual growth among God’s people.

Reading the Old Testament as a Christian

The Old Testament remains a vital part of God’s revelation and provides essential insights for Christian leaders today. This course offers a comprehensive overview of the Old Testament while helping participants understand its historical context, theological themes, and relevance for Christian ministry. Leaders will gain practical tools for interpreting and applying Old Testament truths faithfully and effectively.

Choosing Love When Conflict Arises

Conflict is inevitable, but division is not. This course equips church leaders with biblical principles and practical tools for addressing disagreements in ways that strengthen relationships and honor Christ. Finding Balance in Ministry Life

Many ministry leaders struggle with unrealistic expectations, competing priorities, and the pressures of serving others. This course examines biblical principles for healthy ministry through the example of Jesus and the teachings of Scripture. Participants will evaluate their values, priorities, and rhythms of life while developing practical strategies for sustainable, fruitful ministry and personal well-being.

Marriage in Ministry

Ministry life brings unique opportunities—and unique pressures—to marriage. Designed for ministry couples, this course examines God’s design for marriage and addresses the challenges of balancing ministry responsibilities with a thriving relationship. Participants will identify areas for growth and develop practical strategies for building a healthy, resilient, and Christ-centered marriage.

Parenting Skills for Ministry Parents

Raising children while serving in ministry presents both blessings and challenges. This course provides biblical guidance and practical encouragement for ministry parents seeking to nurture healthy families while fulfilling their calling. Participants will explore strategies for strengthening family relationships, maintaining healthy priorities, and helping children flourish spiritually and emotionally.
